Pourquoi l’Eglise ?

Pourquoi croire tous à la même chose ?

Pourquoi une seule vérité et pas chacun son truc ?

La vérité est une par nature.
Si tous nous nous approchons de cette vérité (qu’on ne peut posséder pleinement), notre foi se rapproche obligatoirement.

Les chrétiens adhèrent à une révélation qui nous vient de Jésus-Christ (qui a dit "je suis le chemin, la vérité et la vie... Jn 14,6).
On ne peut la modifier, mais il y a une progression dans la découverte de la vérité.

Croire chacun en "sa vérité", considérer que chacun peut en trouver une qui lui convient puisqu’elles se valent toutes ("Pourvu que ça te rende heureux..."), c’est un moyen de ne pas approcher cette vérité mais de prendre quelque chose qui nous plaît, même si c’est faux.
Or, la foi n’est pas un self-service mais bien l’adhésion à une révélation !.
